Tell the kids you’ve drawn them a special Christmas picture. Then hold up a plain white silk. It’s a snowstorm, of course!
Ask the children to draw a Christmas tree in the air. Drop the silk into a bag, and when you pull it out, there’s the outline of a tree. It still needs color, so you magically borrow colors from the children’s clothing and use them to fill it in.
All that’s missing are the decorations. Pluck little red lights from the air and drop them into the bag. When the silk comes out one last time, the tree is covered in red stars!
